Rather interesting numbers especially when you look at opinions on individual issues. President Bush and the GOP lose rather badly on every issue except "terrorism".

The public divides evenly on only one issue: terrorism, with 46 percent expressing more confidence in the Democrats and 45 percent trusting Republicans on a top voting concern that the GOP counts on dominating.

Look for the mid-term elections to reflect the strategy in 2004. In other words, the GOP paints the Democrats as weak on terrorism and the Democrats sit back windsurfing with hardly a clue!
