Another exit, stage right

Sure seems to be a lot of White House staffers who, all of a sudden, want to spend more time with family. Of course, some of the old family guard will still be hangin' around, such as Carl Rove. Pity. Wonder who'll be the next person they hang in McClellan's spot -- the job Ari Fleischer described as "human pinata."

there was a story that tony snow is being considered. the white house should just outsource the job to foxnews. the infrastructure is in place and we all know how foxnews will stay on message.

Awful defensive there, ram. I put it up as a point of news. Every president goes through PSs like popcorn -- it's a no-win job.

Was interesting, though, to see Tony Snow step up to the podium today. Doesn't he look a lot like John Kerry? Is this another evil ruse by the Bush Deministration?

And W came out with a pathetically (and typically) weak stab at humor when asked about Snow's prior criticisms: "He said, 'You shoulda seen what I wrote about the other guy.'" What other guy? Is there another president? An evil twin? Maybe he was talking about Cheney. That would be credible.
