Looking into the not-too-distant past, Lawrence Wilkerson recently published an op-ed piece in the LA Times. Wilkerson was chief of staff ot SOS Powell. He writes about the "cabal" in the First Four Bush Years.: "Its insular and secret workings were efficient and swift - not unlike the decision-making one would associate more with a dictatorship than a democracy."
