You people are never happy. If Bush met with every single person who wanted to speak with him then you'd complain he wasn't doing his job. Sheehan and Tomas are unfortunate situations. He already met with Sheehan once before, she had her chance.
thanks for serving. thanks for giving up the ability to walk for the rest of your life. sorry about the unfortunate situation, but it will take more than sacrificing your ability to walk for your country before the president will actually, you know, talk to you. he's pretty busy biking around with his healthy legs.
yes, yes, mr. bush supports the troops. just not the unfortunate situations!
So Bush will go on with his life. It's good to know that he put that whole Iraq thing behind him -- it's been such a downer. Maybe he had a therapy session. You know -- put it in a box, close the box, and send it far away.
Protesters of this sort are nice sideshows, but lets stick to the real issues and spend our resources on trying to correct the many mistakes this administration has made. Geez.
Serial, we gave our trust to the president to not deceive us. Unfortunately, he did. We also trusted him to make prudent decision in war planning. He has miserably failed in this area. I think any reasonable person would conclude that major mistakes were made that led to many unnecessary deaths. I don't say this in hindsight, many experts tried to warn this extremely arrogant president before the war began. Maybe he looks back and realizes that his arrogance blinded him to reality. Again, lets try to take our personal emotions and desire to support a party out of this and focus on solving the problem. The next time we have an opportunity to vote for a president, lets not forget what war mongering candidates and parties get this country into.
You're so very off base. Nobody WANTS war, and I'd like to see you prove anyone did. Bush didn't knowingly lie to us. Everyone had the same intel. Even your boy Kerry read it the same way. Remember him and many other Democrats voting FOR war?
As for planning- we have planned as well as is possible. You can't plan for terrorism, IEDs and car bombs. Wait- you seem to think you know everything. Maybe YOU have a plan. Care to share it? Why don't you "take your personal emotions and desire to support a party out of this" and stop blindly hating our President. You are far more arrogant than Bush ever dreamed of, Mr. hindsight know-it-all.
I actually like W a bit. He seems to be a decent guy, just not a good president. That is all I am saying, he has screwed up and, what is it now, 65% plus of America knows it.
So first "he deceived us" and now it's just "he screwed up"? Didn't want to answer anonymous as to Bush's motives? I thought you'd rant on about war for oil. I too, would like to hear the "plan" you liberals would use in Iraq since you all so freely claim Bush has no plan. The world would benefit from your wisdom of combatting car bombs and the like.
