Happy B-Day W.

Happy Birthday to our 43rd President--New Haven, Connecticut is his birth city, not Texas. But, the Wild West image suited him well in politics.

just like Reagan before him, when all is said and done, Bush 43 will go down as one of our finest presidents. He may have not been the smartest, but presidents who preside during wartime can't help be great.

Happy birthday, Mr. President!--Klug

Telling me who is your pick for "finest president" is like telling me your favorite color, extremely subjective, based largely on emotion and in the end it simply does not matter. BTW, my favorite color is red, because its prettier than every other color.

Yea, I like red too. It looks pretty on an electoral map!

It's pathetic that a birthday greeting can spark such low discourse. I'll join in wishing the President a (belated) happy birthday. I don't wish him ill -- just retirement.

John,

Don't worry, Mr. Bush will be out in 3 years or so... damn term limits.
