The Love Hammer

(with apologies to Rudy's buddies)

"Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seats and it will facilitate the serving of our hammer desserts"

They love him. They really love him.

For more, give this a listen.

After listening to the NPR piece on the Delay Lovefest, my only thought is that Pete Seeger should sue their ass to Tuesday.

To hear those walnut-brained jackboots singing "If I Had a Hammer" was utterly revolting. The FCC should look into this, since they're so jacked up about obscenity on the airwaves.

The current batch of Republicans have proven, once again, that only they possess the amoral vacuousness to top Ronnie Reagan.

For his re-election campaign in 1984, Reagan's team adopted Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA." Naturally, they were utterly clueless about the meaning of the song. Well, Bruce stood up to the President and said, "Stop using my song, dammit! Don't use it again. Don't even think about it. Don't hum it in the shower."
