GOP Dowdifies Its Constituents

What do Republicans do when America is against their President's non-plan to privatize social security?

They lie.

The Republican party has reached the pinnacle of desparation. (Watch them quote me as saying "The Republican party has reached the pinnacle.")

Misrepresenting what people say through a partial quote is wrong- no matter who does it. I don't know enough to be any authority on the subject, or if Bush's plan is good or crap. I do know enough to say that something must be done for BOTH Social Security and Medicare. It seems that Medicare is a more pressing problem.

I'm not going to sit here and blindly back the President's plan, but at least he is acknowledging the existence of the problem in SS (while apparently ignoring Medicare) while I see several Democrats acting like, and saying that there is no problem. Both sides are f*&%ed up! Must we have partisanship in everything? I'm about two shakes away from voting for nothing but third party candidates next time I'm in a polling booth!
