Tucker Carlson Punked at CNN

Carlson and Crossfire out at CNN. Tucker may land MSNBC show.

Leads one to wonder whether Jon Stewart's public flogging of CF last year had anything to do with it. Tail wagging the dog, perchance?

Hat tip: Taegan.

Thats too bad, I like Crossfire and, well, to be honest that bow tie thing did it for me. Seriously, it was a good show, Tucker did not get on my nerves like say, uh, Sean Hannity. CNN will be losing a popular personality and a guy that is somewhat reasonable....for a conservative.

Though I disagree with his politics, Carlson wasn't bad.

But I wasn't a fan of Crossfire for many of the reasons Jon Stewart raised: (mainly) it's a show that allows each side's political hacks to appear and regurgitate their party's talking points, without ever engaging in any real debate.

The two sides just sit there the whole time and scream at each other never resolving anything and having the effect of further polarizing the country. I'd love to see an episode where former Dem. Chairman McCauliffe and GOP Chairman Ed Gillespie reach across the table and hug after agreeing on something.
