Good article. He forgot to add that Artest has an extra Y chromosome and that when he was a rookie playing with the Chicago Bulls he applied for a part-time position at Circuit City.
Yeah, that's right, the man was making a 7-digit salary and decided to stop by the local CC to fill out an application. On the job app., he apparently wrote down "NBA player" as his last job and used Bulls president Jerry Krause's name as a reference. And he did it all just so he could get the 10-15% employee discount on home electronics. It was for a summer position.
In wake of brawl, Ron Artest waxes philosophically:
"Having a record company and putting out my own CD. There's clothes and shoes. There's also an upcoming book deal that I'm trying to do. I'm trying to be positive. I'm a big fan of the Nobel Peace Prize."
--Ron Artest on how he's dealing with life after his suspension.
