Bush's Buddies Stick it to Stockholders

More bad times for Halliburton. Turns out they pulled a fast one on the stockholders back when your Vice President was in charge, and the SEC today slapped the company with a $7.5 million fine. Of course, your Vice President had nothing to do with it, right?

Well, for some context, Billmon breaks it down very nicely. Read the whole thing.

Oh, and your Vice President gave sworn testimony to the SEC. Think we'll see it before the election. Not a chance. John Kerry, as he damn well should be, is all over it.
