Yes, John Edwards will be the nation's next vice president. I think Kerry made the right choice.

And the Bush campaign, in a refreshing bit of positivity, welcomed Edwards to the race and said they look forward to a spirited debate on the issues. Kidding. Well, at least it's a step up from the Republican National Committee's ugliness.

Here's hoping John Edwards' optimism and positivity inspire all of the candidates to elevate the discourse.
